FO: 1898 Hat

And, we have an FO! This was a super quick knit. I really enjoyed it, and can't get over how SQUISHY it is! The Icelandic wool absolutely makes this. If you're looking to make it yourself, the pattern can be found here.

There are some changes that I would suggest:

** Slip the first stitch of each row with yarn in front to make a much easier pickup edge.
** Rather than slipping center 3 with yarn in front, purl them.
** For the decrease rounds, work the second decreases as: (slip one knitwise, slip one purlwise, knit through back loops).
**Garter stitch Kitchener is super easy:
For the setup: Knit on the front needle, purl on the back needle.
For the remaining stitches: Knit off, purl on for both front and back needles.
**Work center stitches in a stockinette Kitchener
**Stop plain knitting rows at k3, k2tog row.
     k3, k2tog (28 sts)
     k2, k2tog (21 sts)
     k1, k2tog (14 sts)
     k2tog (7 sts)
     cut yarn and pull through
